Parvesh Kumar Trehan
Dr. Naturopathy, Yogi & Teacher of Kriya
Dr. Parvesh Trehan is a rare bird - one of the few individuals
that have strength and commitment enough to carry their
yoga practice off the mat and actually live it. Parvesh
has trained in Martial Arts, Yoga, Naturopathy, Reflexology
and Nutrition. In addition, he has worked extensively in
his local community finding practical, everyday applications
for the use of yoga, notably assisting with the detoxification
and rehabilitation of intravenous drug users and the support
of HIV sufferers.
Parvesh has an extraordinary gift to make the more inaccessible
yogic practices valid and usable in an everyday sense (with
humour even, not that easy when practicing kunjal for the
first time…) thereby broadening the meaning and purpose
of your yoga practice. Parvesh lives as he teaches in Delhi,
northern India.

Ajay Kumar
Yogi and Teacher
Ajay started practicing yoga at an early age with BNS Iyengar
at the Sri Patanjala Yoga Shala at Parkala Mutt in Mysore.
He soon discovered he was naturally flexible and had an
aptitude for the postures. Practicing at the Mutt, Ajay
established an enduring committment to both the physical
and spiritual dimensions yoga, which has come to be an integral
part of his life.
Today, Ajay maintains an individual practice. Drawing from
his personal experience practicing asana, he applies the
lessons he has learned about the body and how it moves to
his teaching.
Ajay's Teaching
Ajay has been teaching Astanga Vinyasa Yoga for the past
four years. He teaches 'Mysore Style', which means he introduces
students to the series posture by posture. Under his supervision,
students advance toward practicing the whole sequence as
they gain flexibility, strength and stamina.
Ajay teaches his students with sensitivity to their body
and his adjustments are gentle and precise. Ajay is particularly
concerned with alignment and correct posture and guides
his students to that end. It is his goal that his students
stretch themselves to their full potential.
He is particularly interested in teaching beginner students
or those with little exposure to physical yoga, hoping to
initiate them into a fulfilling and physically beneficial
practice. All new students, no matter what their flexibility
or experience, will start learning the primary series.
