Holiday extensions
Got more holiday time?
The India yoga retreats are designed so that even those with
little annual leave can come and have a decent holiday. Let's
face it, it's quite a long journey, so if you've got more time
we'd like to help you make the most of it.
Trekking Extensions
We also run a dedicated trekking company that specialises
in trekking in the Indian Himalaya. Superb opportunities exist
for walking the trails of the mountains surrounding the retreat
centre. There's not much to compare it too. Other Himalayan
trekking, as in Nepal, involves hoards of tourists. Many of
the routes are so busy you'll be queuing up! Trekking in the
Indian Himalaya is a more relaxed and altogether peaceful affair.
We can arrange gentle one day hikes to full on month long
7000m climbing expeditions.
There's nothing for you to worry about. All treks include
porters, tents, cooks and guides. Prices
from £40 per
day.
Sightseeing Extensions
If trekking doesn't appeal, there are plenty of other options.
India is quite certainly one of the weirdest and most wonderful
countries on earth. Deserts, beaches, temples, mountains, crazy
cities, amazing shopping, it's all here. If you like a bit
of magic, it's definitely worth sticking around. Piers has
over 5 years experience of living in India, why not let him
put together an itinerary for you. Prices
from £50 per
day.
